WOMEN'S LONDON CHAMPIONSHIP

The Women's London Championship is a 50 over competition among 5 London area County teams: Kent, Sussex, Essex, Surrey, and Middlesex.
It is a single Round Robin competition.

Points System:

Win: 10 points; Tie: 5 points; Loss: 0 points. No result from a match started or abandoned match: 5 points.

Batting and Bowling bonus points: based on number of runs scored and wickets taken during the match. It appears that 100 runs earns one batting point and each 50 after that earns another. For bowling it appears that 4 wickets earns one point end every 2 wickets after that earns another. 10 wickets earns a 4th bowling point. I have been unable confirm this with any official source.

The Teams (Photos, info., etc.)  All team links below are to the team pages at Play-cricket.com. Where there is a club player page that I have found that has substance, I will point to that also.

The Teams
Kent (Kent Cricket Club); Kent (Pcc)
Middlesex (Middlesex Cricket Club); Middlesex (Pcc)
Surrey (Surrey Cricket Club--scroll past the men's squad); Surrey (Pcc)
Sussex (Sussex Cricket Club); Sussex (Pcc)

The best place to start following this Tournament is at the Play-Cricket.com Competition page. It contains the latest table, links to every team Pcc Page, scorecards, League Points, bare bones ball by ball commentary, and match statistics (individual and team wagon wheels, partnerships, manhattans, worms, and run rates). At the bottom of the main competition page are complete league statistics, which can be manipulated and downloaded.
