HERFORDSHIRE WON BY 18  RUNS
HEREFORDSHIRE 5-0-1--21--1ST); SUFFOLK 4-2--16--2ND [TIED])

This was the matchup of the week and of the season in the group. In the first match Captain and Opener Kezia Hassall and Amelia Kemp opened the Innings with a 68 run partnership that laid the platform for the final total. Kemp top scored with 51 on 58 balls, 6 fours and an 87.93 strike rate. Then the Herefordshire  attack was able to restrict Imogen Sidhu to less than 50 runs for the first time in the competition (37 in 52 balls, 4 fours, strike rate: 71.15). She still top scored and still was part of the biggest partnership of the Suffolk Innings, 37, with Sophie Singer, for the third wicket. But Catherine Cirkel (2 for 14 from 3 overs) stopped the partnership and dismissed Sidhu, for the biggest wicket of the season for Herefordshire. Shortly after that, Cirkel  (to Lydia Borbas at the bowler's end) ran out Singer.

In the second match, Hassall came in at number 6 with Herefordshire teetering at 15-4. Here she played a true Captain's Innings, partnering with Charlotte Banks for 61 runs and turning the match around. Hassall top scored with 59 not out on 41 balls, with 5 fours and 1 six. Her strike rate was 143.90. Sidhu was held to 27 in Suffolk's reply and Herefordshire finished the doubleheader sweep.
